Real-time media monitoring company Streem has announced a major strategic collaboration driven by Google Cloud to advance AI capabilities within its communications platform.
As part of the collaboration between Google Cloud and parent company Cision, Streem will integrate Google Cloud’s Gen AI models to strengthen its platform for PR and Communications professionals.
By combining Streem’s unmatched media intelligence platform with the power of Google Cloud’s AI technology, Streem will unlock a host of meaningful AI, automation and workflow tools designed to save time, add value and enrich insight.
Streem is used by over 1,000 of Australia and New Zealand’s largest corporate and government media teams. The company’s 2025 AI Product Suite presents new and existing customers with the next step in media intelligence and underpins the value of the media teams’ daily work.
Streem’s AI product suite powered by Google Cloud is a strong statement of intent by the local media monitoring provider as it moves to service an even larger section of the market through:
- AI-powered Workflows: Simplifying and automating common tasks and adding conversational tools within Streem to enable significant time savings for PR and Comms professionals.
- AI Insights: Helping customers to extract detailed commentary and thematics across large clusters of local and global media coverage, summarising and visualising for presentation within a new and enhanced Instant Insights package.
- Predictive Analytics: Enabling teams to analyse data at scale to drive targeted press responses that impact their earned media performance.
The soon to be released AI product suite adds to the existing AI Pitches, proprietary React Score, and Summarisation tools already launched to Streem customers in 2024.
“Streem has approached AI with a focus on enabling and reinforcing the role of media teams through smart, deep AI tooling that adds value to our customer’s busy jobs,” said Leon Hudson, managing director at Streem.
“We’re confident our AI product suite will be a game-changer for all customers and reflects deep thought in applying AI tools to media monitoring, analysis and journalist outreach”.
Streem will release a raft of new AI-driven product innovations later this quarter and into next year, further solidifying its challenger brand position across Australia and New Zealand.
“This is an exciting announcement for Streem, having taken the time to listen to our customers’ pain points and develop meaningful partnerships and integrations to empower their day-to-day,” said Dylan Vidal, director global product srategy for Streem and CisionOne platforms.
