Chicken and turkey company Steggles is probably kicking itself for one of its Father’s Day Facebook posts which got a fair few social media users hot under the collar.
The social media post said to give Dad a night off from cooking for Father’s Day, just like he has the night off every other night of the year.
While the post has since been deleted and is no longer on the Steggles Facebook page, the tweets and comments continue to flow thick and fast.
The company has yet to respond to the controversy. B&T has contacted Steggles but had not heard back at the time of publication.
Wow @StegglesAus. Just wow. Not a customer & won’t ever be. https://t.co/U4wjkeqJv8

@laureningram @StegglesAus @sarahdaviscc so gross. Hard to believe there’s still brands willing to be so tacky

@laureningram @sarahdaviscc @StegglesAus very interested to see how they justify this.
