Starts At 60 Opens Sydney Office

Starts at 60 welcomes Nicki Williams to lead their national expansion of direct sales in the rapidly growing digital media business. Williams spearheads a new Sydney operation for the company, bringing the over 60 audiences to a market that has little competition.

This is the first Sydney recruit for Starts at 60, which is expanding fast following the investment of Seven West Media in February 2016.  Their offices will be based in Seven’s Eveleigh building.

Williams has extensive media sales and leadership experience, having worked across many of the majors, including Fairfax, Seven and Southern Cross Austereo in NSW and national sales roles promoting a wide variety of media, partnerships and digital products. She makes a powerful addition to the growing team.

“We’ve been looking for the right person to lead our Sydney presence for some months and welcome Nicki to the team with excitement.  Our team’s expansion into Sydney really needed the right values and personality behind it.  We pride ourselves on making media for over 60s young, fun and engaging.  Nicki is the perfect fit,” said Rebecca Wilson, founder and CEO of Starts at 60.

Having recently deployed Lotame, they launch their “direct digital audiences”, premium data driven advertising opportunities in coming weeks amid significant demand. “This will enable premium advertisers and sponsors to access a variety of targetable cohorts over 60, unavailable anywhere else in such quality and volumes in the media industry.”

Starts at 60 is Australia’s largest and most engaged mature digital media audience.  With 1,050,000 unique visitors and 3.5M pageviews per month, along with social media reach that outstrips major media brands in multiples with up to 9 million reach and 2 million post engagements in the last week.
