Stable Research Adds Derek Brown As General Manager Sales

Aussie marketing agency Bastion Collective has announced a new member of its data collection business Stable Research, adding Derek Brown as general manager sales.

Brown has more than 20 years’ experience in the market research industry, most recently at market and data services agency SSI/Dynata.

Stable Research co-founder and director Karen Johnson said of the appointment: “We are really thrilled to have Derek on-board.

“His years of experience and enthusiasm for the industry means he has the ability to drive the business into new directions.

“We know our clients want to deal with one business for all their panel and data requirements and Derek’s expertise ensures we can provide them with solutions to meet this need”.

Brown added: “I’m delighted to be joining Stable Research which, for as long as I can remember, has had a great name in the qualitative recruitment space – testament to Karen and Pip’s directorship.

“To my surprise, and that of a number of our customers, it has also developed a large, well-profiled panel fit for expanded use in the quantitative and first-party data realms.

“Now, with the support of the Bastion Collective, the business has the opportunity to significantly ramp up that offering both to our existing client base, and also as part of an increased synergistic offering from the Bastion portfolio.

“This is clearly a group on the rise and I’m really excited to be part of its continued growth with Stable as its data hub”.
