It was a dark day for extramarital affair site Ashley Madison when it was hacked and user details spread throughout the interwebs.
However, what was a disastrous time for the brand and it’s parent company Avid Life Media – so bad it saw the CEO depart – was a marketing business opportunity for another team who have appeared to start a website called Ashley Madison Avenue.
The site has a tagline of: “Careers are short. Cheat on your partner.”
Upon entering the site, you can choose whether you’re an art director seeking a copywriter, or a copywriter seeking an art director.
Searching for either brings up a hoard of profiles people have submitted, including profile info such as age, location, limits and smoking habits.
Now, we’re not sure whether any of the accounts are actually genuine, but we’ve contacted Terry and Sandy – the team behind the site, according to US publication AdWeek – to find out what the go is.
We’ll update when we hear back.
