The Sphere Agency has kicked off FY2021-22 in style, expanding its brand reputation service offering with the appointment of multiple new hires.

Integral to the agency’s expansion is the appointment of Jacinta Chapman to the newly created head of campaigns role.

Chapman brings more than 15 years’ experience working within government, corporate, in-house and an agency environment as a brand reputation, communication, marketing and PR professional.

She said, “it’s been more than a decade since I first started working client-side at Nando’s with (Sphere founder and managing director) Michael Abdel and the team at Sphere. Together we delivered many of my career highlights including the Black Eyed Peas After Party, Bruno stunt, World Cup MTV song ‘Hearts on Fire’, influencer partnerships, hundreds of topical ads turned around in just hours and music festival activations, all while opening restaurants and supporting hundreds of franchisees.”

“We raised the brand’s profile through tactics that amplified our strategic approach to solidify Nando’s cheeky and irreverent tone. I am excited to be getting the band back together again.”

Michael Abdel, founder of The Sphere Agency, said: “It feels like we have come full circle but with a decade more experience under our belts, we are a lot wiser. Over the years Sphere has delivered some significant work for clients but clearly Nando’s has been a highlight and working with Jacinta again will mean we can bring the best of the best for our clients.

“It’s been the big ideas that have had the greatest impact on businesses. Through the right strategy and campaigns we can drive significant commercial ROI as well as brand building and amplification along the way. Through the expansion of our offering to a full suite of brand reputation services under the Sphere umbrella we give our clients the opportunity to take a holistic approach to their brand positioning.”

“This year will see significant growth for many of our clients as many expand their footprint. With COVID continuing to impact many businesses, it’s more important than ever that we are able to work closely with our client partners across the globe to not only build their brands but to protect them,” he said.

To support the expanded portfolio additional hires have been made in the creative and account services teams.
