Sparro Hires 18 Following New Business Wins

Independent digital marketing agency Sparro has bolstered its team after winning a string of new business across the non-profit and retail sectors.

The wins include media and strategy accounts with Dymocks, Oz Hair & Beauty, and JDRF.

Sparro co-founder and partner Cam Bryant said: “Brands are expecting more from their agency partners and we’re honoured to be chosen to represent and drive growth for these companies.”

The Sparro “Expect More” philosophy has seen the nearly 8-year-old business expand into full digital media, content strategy and e-commerce consulting.

“Digital agencies, particularly indie agencies, are best placed to deliver more for clients — not just results, but more leadership, trust and innovation.”

The new clients join a book that includes tenured-relationships with Temple & Webster, Catch, Webjet, Estee Lauder Companies and more.

“Our team has such a strong admiration for what these brands stand for, what they’ve achieved to date, and where they want to head. We can’t wait to get stuck in to help drive real tangible results that will help them on this journey and get some more wins on the board for Aussie businesses.”

The wins coincide with continued growth from existing clients looking to strengthen their digital presence and drive greater marketing ROI, especially as more Australians embrace digital services.

Cam added: “We’ve built strong client relationships over seven years from acting client-first, cutting the bullshit and building a business around people and honesty, over short-term profit.

“As a result, in recent months many clients have trusted us to consult and add value in different ways, embracing projects across site optimisation, content creation, media planning, offline media buying, data visualisation and automation,” he added.

To cater to continued growth, the agency has also made 18 new appointments since June, including the appointment of Jess Steele to Key Account Director.

Jess, who was most recently an Account Director at We Are Social, brings a wealth of local and international experience to the team, having worked with global brands such as Google, Netflix, Sony and Audi in Australia and in the UK.

In June this year, Sparro promoted their Key Account Director, Hannah Jones, to General Manager to help the agency scale and drive continued growth and innovation.
