Southern Cross Austereo Sydney Boosts Sales With A Trio Of Appointments

Southern Cross Austereo Sydney (SCA) has made three new appointments in its local sales team.

Belinda Dawes has joined the team in the newly created role of Sydney sales manager, which will see her take the lead on executing SCA’s first-class sales vision and tasked with growing share. Belinda joins SCA after 10 years at News Limited where she was most recently NSW area manager.

Justin Negrini has been appointed to the position of senior national account manager, which will see him responsible for SCA’s senior client portfolio.  Justin, who was most recently at 2GB, brings with him strong radio experience.

Nicki Bedford recently joined SCA as national account manager responsible for new business acquisition. Nicki’s background includes roles at Network Seven (Seven Affiliate Sales), Fairfax and Brand Events Australia.

Of the new appointments, SCA Sydney general manager Jeremy Simpson said: “We are growing the Sydney team to satisfy the increased demand we have for our digital and social media assets plus the huge success of our rugby league broadcasts across the Triple M network. Luckily, we continue to be a magnet for talent who want to work for the most loved brands in radio.”

These roles each report into Sydney sales director Silvana Dukanovic, with the appointments effective immediately.
