At midnight last night, Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) made the switch on Channel 9 programming across Victoria, regional Queensland & Southern NSW.
SCA CEO Grant Blackley was joined by senior Channel 9 executives and talent including, Lisa Wilkinson, Tracy Grimshaw, Peter Overton, Deborah Knight and Ken Sutcliffe at the official launch event at the Ivy Uccello in Sydney yesterday.
SCA CEO Grant Blackley said, “This is a historic moment in television for regional Australia.
“Never before has there been a change of affiliation between the networks, so this is a major achievement in itself and one worth celebrating.”
