Although not in London to attend the event, Sharon Thurin is one Aussie who’s watching Wimbledon 2017 with bated breath.
Over the past 12 years, the successful mumpreneur behind Slim Secrets has taken her product from the kitchen table to the tennis courts at this year’s Wimbledon.
In 2005, Sharon Thurin started Slim Secrets’ protein-rich nutritional snack range from a background in law, pharmacy and wellness coaching.
Today, her business exports to 15 countries, with leading international tennis champion Angelique Kerber as its global brand ambassador. A genuine and powerful alignment, the tennis champion has been sighted on court in carrying her Slim Secrets must-have snacks for fuel.
Thurin said she was thrilled to partner with Kerber. To be one of the only Australian brand logos seen on centre court at Wimbledon – with the world’s top-ranked player – is a dream come true,” she said.
“Most other brands seen at Wimbledon are all major global companies like Adidas, Nike, Rolex and Yonex.”
