Andrew Knowles, partner and co-founder of the corporate communications consultancy Shoebridge Knowles Media Group (SKMG), has won the PR category in the 2021 B&T 30 Under 30 Awards.

Knowles received the award at a ceremony in Sydney last night, claiming victory in a highly competitive field that included leading executives from some of Australia’s biggest PR agencies. Two other executives were also honoured in the category.

Presented by B&T magazine for over a decade, the 30 Under 30 Awards are widely regarded as the leading showcase for the brightest young talent working across marketing communications. Many previous recipients are now leaders in the Australian communications, media and marketing industry.

Knowles commneted: “It really is an honour to receive such a prestigious acknowledgement from B&T and the broader industry. Neil and I have been incredibly fortunate to achieve what we have with SKMG in a relatively short time. I’m very proud of our business and even more proud to see it shortlisted among so many well-established and globally recognised firms.

“While this award focuses on me, it is in no small way thanks to my business partner, our incredible team and our amazingly supportive clients.”

Knowles and his business partner, Neil Shoebridge, established SKMG in May 2018.

The company’s current and recent clients include Seven West Media, News Corp Australia, Nature, Involved Media, DearFriend & Co, The Lab Insight and Strategy, Network 10, Publicis Groupe, APN Outdoor, KordaMentha and Free TV Australia.
