brand new media has announced Simon Joyce, as Managing Director of its Australia and New Zealand operations, reporting directly into Perry Smith, Founder and Group CEO.

Previously head of MCM Entertainment, now Authentic Entertainment, Joyce has more than 13 years experience developing and leading multimedia businesses in the digital age at public company level. With a proven pedigree in entertainment content marketing, Joyce will focus on building the creative output of BNM’s production capabilities and its’ end-to-end entertainment offering for brands and broadcasters.

Chief Executive Officer of BNM, Perry Smith said, “It’s a great privilege to have Simon join the BNM Global Executive team to run our Australian and NZ business. He is a proven leader and his experience in creating and monetizing content for brand and broadcaster will drive our business to new levels.”

Combining this with key broadcast partnerships including 7, Prime and TVNZ, brand new media have genuine momentum and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to build on this strong foundation and lead the business in Australia and New Zealand.”

Simon commences in the role on July 14 and will immediately be undertaking a sales and sales strategy restructure whilst overseeing BNM’s delivery and development of branded content solutions in Australian and New Zealand markets.
