Shutterstock And B&T Partner With UnLtd For An Evening Of Authentic Branding

Last Thursday, B&T was honoured to present an evening dedicated to authentic branding, ‘Got Purpose?’.

Held at the QT in Melbourne, marketers and brand-fans came in droves to listen to a panel of adland gurus discuss the importance of having a meaningful purpose.

Speakers Yvonne Januschka (Shutterstock), Grant Munro (Shutterstock Custom), Nina Nyman (UnLtd), Jake Barrow (VMLY&R) and B&T‘s editor in chief, David Hovenden, shared their experiences on how brands can convey an authentic brand purpose in the age of socially conscious consumers.

With an engaging Q&A session following the presentations, audience members were left with plenty of insight into how to drive campaigns that will deliver purpose-driven and impactful results to both companies and communities.

Created especially for the event, Shutterstock teamed up with charity partner UnLtd to create a campaign using the new Shutterstock Custom platform.

UnLtd is a social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industry with charities working with at-risk children and young people.

UnLtd has faced ethical and legal challenges of attaining photos of children to use for their campaigns, a challenge that we aimed to assist with.

UnLtd’s head of marketing, Nina Nyman (featured image, centre) said of the partnership: “UnLtd is a social purpose organisation connecting the media, marketing and creative industry with impactful charities helping children at risk.

“Given the nature of work our charity partners do with vulnerable children, it’s always been difficult to get access to imagery of children to use in our marketing materials.

“Working with Shutterstock Custom gave us a unique chance to get professional photography as per our brief and brand guidelines from across the globe and locally, without needing to travel.

“We’re very grateful for B&T, Shutterstock and of course the children starring in the photos for making this happen so quickly and effectively.”

Through casting agency Chicken & Chips, we were put in touch with amazing Melbourne-based modelling agencies Munchkins Talent Agency and Bubblegum Casting.Melbourne Girl Melbourne Kids Melbourne Kids 2 Melbourne Boy
