Shopper Media Group Appoints Trish McMahon As Commercial Director

The Shopper Media Group team has expanded, with Trish McMahon (featured image) joining the company in the role of commercial director.

McMahon has joined Shopper Media Group from oOh! Media, where she spent more than six years in Commercial Management roles across Retail and Fly.

Prior to that, McMahon held project manager, national operations manager and commercial manager positions at Adshel NZ.

Shopper Media Group’s chief operating officer, Ed Couche, said McMahon’s appointment is the latest in a series of key recruitments driving the company’s focus on growth and its commitment to delivering innovative digital technology and media to marketers and shopping centre owners.

Couche said: “Trish’s experience in both Australia and New Zealand will provide valuable strategic guidance in attracting shopping centre partners who want access to a digital platform that offers innovation, data analytics, consumer insights and best practice in retail out-of-home media.

McMahon’s focus will be on maintaining and improving relationships with shopping centres, while also creating processes and procedures that will ensure new portfolio acquisitions enjoy a seamless transition to Shopper Media Group’s leading digital communication network.

McMahon commented: “I’m looking forward to helping grow Shopper Media’s portfolio of shopping centres by offering best-in-class digital media solutions, data collection and analytics.

“This technology is critical to meeting the needs of shopping centres today and in the future.”

Shopper Media Group CEO, Ben Walker added: “We believe in empowering shopping centres with a better understanding of their customers, so they can deliver meaningful, personalised and highly engaging campaigns that improve the shopper experience and support retailers within their centres.

“Trish joins an established and highly professional team that has been instrumental in securing and servicing our network of more than 300 shopping centres nationally, and growing.”
