ShopBack has launched their latest above-the-line TVC. Created in collaboration with earned creative agency Poem’s production arm, Poem Studio, the TVC aims to educate Aussies on the range of everyday items from fashion to food that they can ‘get cash back’ on while they shop.

The TVC coincides with the launch of ShopBack’s third annual online shopping event, ShopFest, which provides shoppers with an easy online solution to tackling the sales and scoring the best deals from early November 2020 to 5 January 2021. ShopBack Head of Marketing, Kevin Azzopardi, explains how driving reach and awareness of the platform has never been more important as a result of the e-commerce boom in 2020.

ShopBack Head of Marketing, Kevin Azzopardi said: “Since COVID-19 began, 1 million new households in Australia have shopped online, growing both the e-commerce market and the opportunity for ShopBack. As we move into the peak retail season of the year we wanted to create a TVC appeals to a much broader audience, reminding them to make ShopBack their first destination when online shopping.”

Poem Business Director – Content & Studio, Katie Raleigh said: “We’ve enjoyed helping ShopBack grow significantly in the last year through PR, influencer and content but as the brand matures we needed to ensure our ATL TVC reflected the fun TOV of the brand and ease of the product while building further consumer trust in a unique and entertaining way,”

“Ultimately ShopBack is a life hack, and we wanted to show people not just how simple it is but how much it can improve their shopping experience. Creating a sense of reliability with the platform was critical to the success of the creative execution, developing the brand’s identity and ongoing education of the cash back market in Australia.”

The 30-second spot will roll out across Network Ten’s prime time programming including, 10 Evening News, and The Project, running until 30 November and supported by advertorials with daily morning show, Studio 10.
