Seven has unveiled a trailer for Sunday Night’s upcoming interview with Barnaby Joyce and his partner Vikki Campion.
There had been widespread outrage following news that the network had payed the Nationals pollie a cool $150,000 for the interview.
Just this morning, it was revealed that Joyce had taken a month’s leave from Parliament to escape the media scrutiny following his decision to accept the cash which, he has said, would go the couple’s newborn son.
In the new trailer, Seven’s voiceover guy announces the couple as the “illicit love affair that rocked Australia”.
A tearful Campion says: “You can’t you help who you fall in love with.” While Joyce adds, “I failed, I failed, I failed, I failed, I failed.” Check it out below:
