SBS Arabic24 Announces New On-air Line-Up

SBS Arabic24, Australia’s leading Arabic language radio station, has announced a new on-air line-up starting Monday 20 November 2017, delivering a fresh sound to Australia’s growing Arabic-speaking community.

Since launch, SBS Arabic24 has drawn significant audience growth on air and online, becoming the most trusted station by Arabic-speaking Australians. Now accessible across more platforms, the service provides a destination focusing on life in Australia, and a balanced and impartial global and local perspective on world news.

Mandi Wicks, SBS Director of Audio and Language Content said, “SBS Arabic24 has gone from strength to strength and we’re excited to launch a refreshed line-up. We are passionate about delivering Australian news and information, providing settlement information to new migrants and giving everyone a voice. Good Morning Australia

Weekdays, 6am-9am

Wake up with breakfast show hosts Sylva Mezher and Fares Hassan for all the news you need to start your day. The live three-hour show is a meeting place of perspectives, ideas and voices, with a uniquely Arabic-Australian take on the issues that matter.

Al Bayt Baytak

Weekdays, 9am-12pm

Hosts Heba Kassoua and Diala AlAzzeh help listeners navigate all the latest ‘talk of the town’ from around Australia and the Arabic world.

Australia Alyaom

Weekdays, 3pm-6pm

Hosts Ghassan Nakhoul and Barda Katieh unpack and analyse the news of the day.

SBS Arabic24 is proud to announce a new content partnership with Monte Carlo International, which will see the health program ‘Sante Durable’ broadcast in Australia from 6pm each weekday.
