CoVentured, a new platform designed to connect start-ups with corporates to drive innovation in Australia, has launched today with the support of marketing services business Salmat as one of the founding members.
CoVentured has been developed for enterprises to benefit from start-ups’ culture of agility and innovation, and for start-ups to access the skills, scalability and experience of large companies with the common objective to foster innovation.
As a founding member, Salmat has been working with Slingshot to help establish CoVentured. The marketing specialist will commit time and resources to help members, with CEO Craig Dower and CTO Dave Glover offering guidance to start-ups in their initial phases of setup and growth.
“We believe corporates can learn a lot from working with such innovators. Technology played a major part in our transformation, and we recognise the positive impact start-ups can have on business, industry, the economy and society,” Dower said.
“But we also know that start-ups need the support of big businesses to thrive.
“As we continue to transform our business, we are keen to support start-ups and ensure innovation remains at the core of our business, and initiatives like CoVentured are a great way to achieve that.”
