Saatchi & Saatchi Australia has appointed Georgia Jones as general manager of its Melbourne office.

Jones joins from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne where she was head of business management working with clients including Belong, BMW and NAB. She previously held client side roles in London, with a focus on business transformation, data-driven marketing and customer experience.

Jones replaces Mark Cochrane who was recently appointed CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.

Anthony Gregorio, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia, said, “Georgia completes our senior executive team in Melbourne and is going to be a great leader alongside Alex Speakman our chief creative officer, Simon Bagnasco our executive creative officer and Lucy Trengove our head of production.”

“Georgia has a brilliant reputation and made an immediate impact on us when we met her. It’s an impact she will make on our partners, people and product. She joins with the agency having amazing momentum on the creative awards front, so we are excited about the future.”

Jones added, “it’s so exciting to be joining what Ant and his leadership team are building at Saatchi & Saatchi; they have talent, tenacity, huge creative ambition and an incredible momentum that I can’t wait to build upon.”
