R/GA Snares LIDA’s Victoria Curro For Sydney MD Role

R/GA Australia has announced that Victoria Curro will join as managing director of its Sydney office from 25th November.

During a 19-year industry career, Curro has built a reputation as an innovative thinker, inspirational leader and change-maker. She comes to R/GA from LIDA, part of the M&C Saatchi Group, where she has spent over three years as managing director.

Prior to LIDA, Curro held senior agency roles including strategy partner at Lavender, managing director of McCann Sydney and head of direct marketing and board member of George Patterson.

Curro is also a passionate advocate for diversity and developing young talent, having established networking groups for senior female marketers, serving as a mentor, and sitting on the advisory board for the UTS Advanced MBA Course.

“We’re thrilled to have a passionate innovator like Victoria aboard,” said VP managing director R/GA Australia, Michael Tishall (left in photo). “With a shared ambition of enabling people to do the best work of their career and track record of helping brands capitalise on new opportunities, there could be no-one better at the helm of R/GA Sydney.”

Curro added:  “I’ve admired R/GA from afar for many years and am thrilled to be given the opportunity to lead the Sydney office. R/GA is a business that lives its purpose and is exceptionally well placed to lead an industry that is being disrupted. I’m excited to be joining Michael and the team across Asia to help grow the network in this region and together enable our clients to transform at speed.”
