The latest World Value Index is out and has revealed the brands that Millennials believe are doing most good for the planet and aren’t simply about making bucks, with music streamer Spotify taking the number one position.
The report is based on the opinions of 3000 people in the US and was conducted by brand consultancy firm Enso.
Respondents were asked to rate 150 major brands on such thing as: “How aware are you of the brand’s purpose or mission beyond making money?” “Is the brand’s purpose or mission something that you would openly support and care about?” “And does the brand’s purpose or mission motivate you to buy products or services from them?”
The top nine brands for Ys according to the study were (again, the the results were based on the opinion of Americans):
- Spotify (music streaming)
- Snapchat (social media)
- Kickstarter (crowdfunding platform)
- Always (feminine hygiene)
- Etsy (e-commerce women’s fashion brand)
- Twitter (social media)
- Starbucks (coffee chain)
- Uber (ride sharing)
- Fitbit (fitness)
