Reebok Taps Cardi B For Utterly Wacky (Yet Surprisingly Good) Ad

Reebok has tapped global music sensation Cardi B for a weird yet surprisingly good ad that centres on the tagline “sport the unexpected”. And where the 60-second spot goes truly is unexpected.

The spot was created by San Francisco advertising agency Venables Bell & Partners and takes place at a nail salon.

Sporting a Reebok shirt and glittery acrylics, Cardi B engages in regular nail salon chit-chat – that is – complaining to her friend about a boy.

She then notices her Reebok Classic Club C Vintage sneakers are untied and … you can watch what unfolds for yourself below.

The spot is part of a fully-integrated global campaign including social, retail, activation and online content.
