Revlon Professional Australia and American Crew have appointed Red Havas as its agency of record for integrated communications following a competitive pitch.

Red Havas will lead a strategic communications program, aimed at driving the Revlon Professional ‘Create Boldly, Live Boldly’ platform and American Crew grooming credentials, elevating the brands to new heights in 2020 and beyond. The agency will support both brands across communications strategy, creative, consumer and trade PR, experiential marketing, influencer management, social media and trade advertising.

The account will be led by Red Havas’ Melbourne office, utilising the agency’s local team of specialists.

Cristobal De la Rubia, Marketing Director, Revlon Professional and American Crew Australia, said: “Red Havas brought an innovative approach to our brands, that had our purpose at the heart of its communication backed by category data and insight. It was important to appoint the right partner to navigate the market, with agility and creativity during these uncertain times. We feel confident that Red Havas will be a strong partner for the next chapter of our journey.”

Lynn Chinnock, Managing Partner, Red Havas Melbourne, said: “Revlon Professional and American Crew are iconic and inspiring global brands, with artistry at the core of the brands’ DNA. We are excited about the possibilities that we can unearth together, as we strive to deliver on the expectation of today’s meaningful brands.”

The appointment follows the agency’s continued growth in recent months as it continues to demonstrate its mission to help brands make themselves more meaningful than ever, following the agency’s rebrand in 2019.
