realestate.com.au has launched its newest campaign – “How to Home Loan” – a video campaign starring Jess Harris.

The new campaign highlights the everyday challenges people face when embarking on their first home buying journey.

The tongue-in-cheek, educational video series stars comedian Jess Harris of twentysomething fame, who advocates for women to strive for their property goals.

The five-part video series, written by and starring Jess Harris – twentysomething, Wine – irreverently explores the everyday frustrations that come with the home buying journey; from escaping ‘Instagram moments’ to daunting bank meetings and trying to maintain the avocado lifestyle while saving.

Harris said: “This campaign is about being honest and unfiltered, speaking directly to women looking at entering the property market by themselves for the first time. As a single, thirty-something woman myself, I wrote exactly what I would want to see and hear.

“I hope that by ackowledging, in a humerous way, that the property journey can be bumpy, young women will feel empowered and motivated that they can actually pull this house buying thing off!”

Created in partnership with Melbourne production agency, Glue Content, the series was shot over two- days at various locations around Melbourne and aims to create awareness in market for realestate.com.au Home Loans in a fun and engaging way.

REA Group GM of financial experiences Eloise Wall “We’re really excited to launch our new ‘How to Home Loan’ video series with Jess Harris.

“She’s created such a cheerful and encouraging take on the challenges of the first home buyer experience that many Aussies will be able to relate to.

“realestate.com.au Home Loans is all about helping everyday Australians navigate the property and home loan journey and we think this is a great way to shed some light on the process in a way that sets us apart from traditional banks and brokers.”
