Call for Entries are now open for the Real Media Awards – all the fun, glitz and glamour is here again, only this time it’s bigger and better than ever.

The Real Media Collective CEO, Kellie Northwood commented: “The Real Media Awards is dedicated to all things ‘real’.

“Campaigns demonstrating real results, effectiveness, strong engagement, activation and return on investment are those that will take home the trophies this year.”

The inaugural Awards program will see the inclusion of new Major Awards categories including Brand of the Year, Media Brand of the Year and Retailer of the Year Greater.

As well as Direct Mail and Point of Sale categories being expanded from previous years.

Fan favourite ‘Agency of the Year’ is anyone’s for the taking this year with a shakeup to the entry process.

In the past Agencies were nominated, however, this year Agencies can enter directly with their rationale for retail marketing excellence and be judged by the most senior Retailers across the country.

Put your best foot forward, the Awards team are encouraging all entrants to get creative when pitching their excellence.

Northwood explained: “We are wanting to see agencies ‘wow’ the judges with their entries for Agency of the Year – agencies work very hard with their retail partners and having the opportunity to demonstrate their excellence has been something our agency peers have called for and we have listened, I am personally excited to see the entries in this sector, I’m sure it will be impressive.”

The Real Media Awards will see the program include a new category – Media Brands. Consumer, Trade, Custom Publishing and Advertising campaigns will be celebrated in this new category.

Held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Friday 30th August, the 2019 Real Media Awards is the industry’s night of nights to celebrate effective retail marketing, focusing on expanding beyond catalogues and across real media channels.

Northwood concluded: “The Awards program celebrates excellence across all media channels delivering strong outcomes for media investors.

“From letterbox to publishing, print marketing to in-store, these hard-working channels are key to developing the Collective’s purpose to focus on real media, real results, real channels.”
