Publicis Media ANZ has appointed Helena Snowdon as head of new business and marketing.
Snowdon will replace Mandy Henry who has left Publicis after nearly 10 years to pursue other opportunities.
Snowdon has spent most of her career sitting on global media agency executive teams, leading new business and marketing for PHD, Maxus and iProspect.
Previously based in the UK, she relocated to Australia to take on the position of managing director at Mindshare Melbourne.
She most recently led her own business development consultancy firm in Sydney.
Publicis Media ANZ chairman John Preston said the agency is excited to have someone of Snowdon’s calibre driving business development.
He added: “Along with her broad experience as a project leader for agency operations and marketing communications, she joins us with a proven track record of leading new business pitches for some the largest advertisers in the world, and achieving significant global growth for several agencies.”
Preston also thanked Henry for her contribution to the agency.
On her appointment, Snowdon said: “I feel privileged to be joining Publicis Media, working with the executive leadership team in ANZ, as well as the talented teams at Starcom, Spark Foundry, Zenith and Performics.”
Publicis Media is still without a dedicated CEO, and just last week it was reported Spark Foundry CEO Sue Squillace had jumped ship to Dentsu Aegis Network’s Carat to take on the CEO position.
