Priceline Pharmacy Named Sponsor In Women’s Australian Football League

Priceline Pharmacy is a co-major sponsor of the Western Bulldog’s team in the newly developed women’s Australian Football League (AFL).

“As a brand for women, we want to demonstrate that our support extends beyond offering the best products and services. We are proud to be partnering with the Western Bulldogs to help promote an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Stephen Roche, CEO Priceline Pharmacy.

An exhibition match for the women’s league was held on Saturday night at the home of the Western Bulldogs – Whitten Oval (Vic) – with the Western Bulldogs defeating Melbourne. The official season kicks off in February 2017 for the eight teams.

Western Bulldogs Chief Executive Gary Kent said, “This is an exciting time for our Club, but also women’s football broadly, and to come together with such recognisable and trusted brands provides us great momentum heading into the inaugural women’s competition next year.”

Priceline Pharmacy is a co-major sponsor of the team along with Bob Jane T-marts.

Priceline Pharmacy is also the major sponsor of the Adelaide Thunderbirds netball team and recently supported two female athletes competing at the Rio Olympics, Genevieve LaCaze and Mariafe Artacho del Solar.
