Biden Goes Full Ron Burgundy By Reading “End Of Quote” On Teleprompter

President Biden continues to prove he’s just one of us mere mortals! Falling asleep at major events, tumbling down the stairs on Air Force One and even completely forgetting Scott Morrison’s name at the nuclear subs announcement.

And now the 79-year-old Leader of the Free World has endured his latest hilarious gaffe that’s being called his very own “Ron Burgundy moment” in honour of Will Ferrell’s famed and hapless newsreader.

The incident occurred when Biden was delivering a speech on innovation at the White House when he mistakenly read out “end of quote” from the teleprompter.

Check out the blunder below.

As quick as it was, the gaffe soon made it onto social media and the poor old President was duly roasted.

“I’m Ron Burgundy?” someone tweeted.

“Just awkwardly itch your nose and nobody will notice that you have no idea what you’re talking about,” said another.

A third penned: “I honestly had such high hopes for this guy.”

And it’s not the first time the technically befuddled President has wrangled a teleprompter.

Last year he appeared to completely fudge a live speech on America’s pandemic response.

He said: “And, in addition to that, in addition to that we have to make sure that we, we are in a position that we are, well met me go the second thing, I’ve spoken enough on that.”
