Out-of-home agency Posterscope Australia has announced it has appointed Michael Emmerson (pictured above) as head of investment to further strengthen the expansion of its leadership team.
Emmerson joins Posterscope from News Corp, where he was group sales director. Prior to News Corp, Emmerson held investment roles at OMD Australia and Mindshare.
Bryan Magee, managing director of Posterscope Australia, said Emmerson’s appointment will be instrumental in driving the agency forward.
“In recruiting Michael, we have managed to attract a strong, and well-rounded media professional who has a first-class reputation and a passion for not only investment, but also innovation,” Magee said.
“The out-of-home market is developing at pace, and Posterscope needs people of Michael’s skill set to continue to challenge traditional ways of working.”
Commenting on his appointment, Emmerson said: “Posterscope has an exclusive offering in the Australian market, and with the continued growth and innovation of out-of-home, this is a fantastic opportunity. I’m looking forward to working with the team and our media partners.”
Additionally, Elizabeth Whipp (pictured above) will return to the Posterscope team as business director in Brisbane.
“It’s great when people come back to your business, and in Elizabeth we are welcoming back a great professional who has now even more experience,” Magee said.
Whipp said of her return: “I’m excited to return to the out-of-home space. The channel is in consistent healthy growth. Being part of a business that is future-focused in terms of product and relationships is very exciting.”
