Pool Mattress That Looks Like A Giant Maxi Pad Becomes Internet Sensation

Do you often think to yourself: where would we be without this worldwide connection of computers commonly referred to as the internet? Well, one thing’s for sure you’d have never heard of the Pasadena Pool Float that’s found itself the centre of global internet intrigue.

Unfortunately the humble looking flotation device also has a passing similarly to a giant feminine hygiene product.

The pool float was discovered by a Jillian David at an undisclosed store believed to be somewhere in the US.

Ms David posted the image to Twitter and suggested there’s no way the li-lo would have ever made it past the design stage had there been one single woman involved in the process. David posting: “This could have been avoided with one focus group (of women)”.

David’s post has since been liked over 100,000 times with most people appearing to agree with the sentiment.

One rather inquisitive person commented on David’s post with: “Won’t it soak up half the pool water?” While another added: “But does it come with wings?”

And, yes, social media has erupted in its own special way:
