Australian project management consultancy PM-Partners has announced its sponsorship of the New South Wales Women’s rugby team in the Super W rugby competition.
The NSW team is unbeaten in the competition so far and has advanced to the final of the inaugural Super W competition, which will be played in Sydney on Friday 20 April against the Queensland Women’s team.
The Super W competition is in its first year and comprises five teams: NSW Women’s, Queensland Women’s, Brumbies Women’s, Melbourne Rebels Women’s and Western Force Women’s.
Ken Sheargold, CEO of PM-Partners, said: “PM-Partners stands for getting better results, which is why we’re proud to become the official partner for the NSW Women’s rugby team in the new Super W rugby competition.
“The Super W competition showcases more women in sport and becoming an official partner recognises that we encourage more women to participate in sport so that they have every opportunity to be their best.
“This happens through the opportunity to perform at the highest level.”
NSW Rugby and NSW Waratahs CEO Andrew Hore said: “We welcome the support and we are delighted that PM-Partners is backing the NSW Women’s rugby team.
“Their support is a sign that the commercial interest is there for our team and a competition that enhances the development pathways for our players.”
