The M&C Saatchi-owned Bohemia has snared the Uniting’s lucrative media business after a competitive pitch, B&T can reveal.
In a statement to B&T this morning, Uniting’s head of marketing and brand, Sue Jamieson, confirmed that it had appointed Bohemia Group as its media agency across NSW and ACT. “Uniting is very excited to be working with Bohemia and is looking forward to achieving positive outcomes,”Jamieson said.
M&C Saatchi is currently on Uniting’s agency roster, with its Sports and Entertainment division handling the Church’s experiential marketing.
In other pitch news, B&T understands that the University Of Melbourne is set to pitch its creative.
McCann Melbourne is the incumbent agency and had has held the account since winning it in a competitive pitch back in April 2015.
In 2018, McCann Melbourne was crowned Agency of the Year at the 2018 APAC Effie Awards held in Singapore.
The agency’s “Made Possible By Melbourne” campaign for University of Melbourne was awarded two Gold awards and three Silver awards plus the highly coveted Grand Effie, while University of Melbourne took out Brand of the Year and Marketer of the Year.
