Emerging leader in mobile data management platforms AlikeAudience has announced the appointment of Phil James to the newly created role of vice president of sales & marketing across Australia and New Zealand.

James, is well known amongst the marketing profession across the Asia Pacific region, and will join the AlikeAudience leadership team.

He will be charged with the responsibility of connecting local ANZ brands with the most relevant and up to date mobile data on their target audiences.

Speaking of the appointment, James said: “All marketers know the power of delivering the right message, in the right place, at the right time to the right people.

“Unfortunately, too many brands fall down along this journey but with synthesized data from more than 3.9 billion mobile devices, our Audience Intelligence Platform brings our clients sophisticated targeting profiles that are proving to deliver exceptional in-market results.

“I’m excited to be partnering already with some amazing stakeholders and cornerstone clients.”

AlikeAudience’s AIP enriches marketing insights with granular level demographic data, purchase intent, consumer interest, and OTV data from highly qualified third-party sources ranging from premium local to international branded data partners.

According to James, “First-party data is no longer sufficient to derive the most detailed and revealing insights.”

AlikeAudience’s CEO & co-founder Bosco Lam said Phil’s appointment would enable the business to deepen its network of brands and agency partners in ANZ.
