The first hire is the former Strategy Director at Hello Social, Joshua Tan, who joins PHD as Social Director. Tan brings with him a wealth of experience across FMCG, QSR, tech and airlines. He will be charged with driving creativity at PHD Content and helping his clients grow their social presence whilst identifying opportunities of how social can integrate into wider marketing ecosystems.

Mia Kyrikos also joins the team as a Social Media Manager. Her previous experience includes The Iconic and, most recently, over three years at Present Company Pty Ltd.

Following PHD’s Melbourne office winning Priceline’s social media account, PHD Content welcomed two more additions, Bryan Richardson and Allira Sher. Richardson joins as a Social Media Manager with over four years’ experience client side at Myer. Sher joins the content team as a Social Media Executive after an internal promotion. With Lucy Chappell, Content & Partnerships Director, also having joined the team in mid-2020 from Red Engine, PHD Content looks forward to 2021 with a bolstered team across all facets of strategic, creative content

PHD Content services many of PHD’s current client portfolio alongside many independent brands including PepsiCo, Unilever, and Bayer. Recent campaigns delivered include amplifying the Cricket Australia and Rexona Sponsorship, Doritos livestream of Lime Cordiale concert, and Weis sampling van partnership with Nova which is live and on the streets now.

The team is headed up by Jo Liddell, Head of Content and Social, who has been with PHD for over two and a half years. Commenting on the new hires, Liddell said: “The team continue to push creative boundaries and with the new talent being added to the team, we will endeavor to push these boundaries of bravery further. With our client portfolio continuing to expand, I am confident we have the team in place that will deliver imaginative leaps and extraordinary results.”

Managing Director, Lucy Formosa Morgan added: “Under Jo’s leadership the team continues to go from strength to strength and is a high growth area for PHD.
