Peter Ogden will join the ranks of GHO Sydney as the independent agency’s creative director, following continued growth.
Ogden has held many senior roles, including ECD at independent agency Enigma and stints at BWM Dentsu Sydney, JWT Auckland and DDB Sydney.
He is also an award-winning landscape photographer. Ogden said he was “stoked” to join GHO.
“Having worked in a wide range of agencies over the years, from smaller independents to larger networks, I can see that their approach to helping clients navigate uncertainty is truly unique,” he said.
“There’s an infectious sense of momentum about the place that’s great to be a part of.”
GHO creative partner Hamish Stewart said: “With a background in design, art direction, photography and copywriting, Pete brings a wealth of experience to the role.
“As our work encompasses more and more of the brand experience, his diverse skill set will be invaluable. He epitomises our philosophy, ‘Life’s short. Work with people you like.’”
GHO managing partner Eithne McSwiney added: “Having worked with Pete previously, I know how talented he is, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”
GHO Sydney was recently a finalist for Independent Agency of the Year at the B&T Awards, as well as a winner for Best Use of Sponsorship and Best Equality Campaign for its CommBank, ‘C’mon Aussie: Revisited’ project.
The agency works with a diverse range of clients, including Adobe, Allianz, Aware Super, Breville, CommBank, CommSec, Family Planning NSW, PetSure, and Schroders.
Recent wins for the agency include Exchange for Change and Diabetes Australia.
