Brisbane specialty web design and digital marketing firm Digital8 have announced renowned programmer and IT specialist, Peter Fogarty has joined their team.
Joining one of Brisbane’s premier digital agencies, Peter Fogarty (featured image) brings with him over 12 years of global experience as he steps into the role as head of production.
Fogarty began his career at a humble digital development shop in Milton (Brisbane) and worked his way up to operations engineer with multinational BHP in Singapore.
As an early adapter of web technologies, Fogarty was involved with Brisbane’s first internet café “The Hub” in the late 90’s, and has since progressed in the IT industry working on high profile projects such as building Root Certification Authority software for the Australian Army and architecting the retail bank merger between Westpac and St George.
Having worked across recognised brands such as IBM, Oracle, NAB and Esanda, Fogarty’s expertise will bring a wealth of creativity and culture to the growing Digital8 team.
