Peroni Launches Global Campaign For Its New Zero Booze Beer & It Could Well Be A Travel Ad For Sicily

Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro has just launched its first zero alcohol beer it’s claiming is the “best non-alcoholic beer in the world”. Probably not a difficult boast given the taste of most non-alcohol beers!

To coincide with the launch comes a new global campaign that, like every other Peroni ad, uses attractive young people in spectacular Italian settings. This time around, gorgeous Sicily hosts the spot.

The ad’s the work of the brand’s UK agencies Trouble Maker and Unbound Creative and features the obligatory attractive couple but all in reverse.

Commenting on the new no booze beer, Richard Ingram, global brands director at Asahi Europe and International, says: “The world of beer is changing. With an expected global growth of eight per cent across the non-alcoholic beer category in the next five years, the world has been waiting for a more premium offering. The ‘Live Every Moment’ campaign that we roll out globally from this week encapsulates what consumers want; the highest quality product and an aspirational image, to make a 0.0% choice a positive one.

“With over €20 million ($A34.7 million) invested in creating Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, this is our biggest innovation to date, and we believe we have brewed the best non-alcoholic beer in the world.”
