Putting its Kendall Jenner folly well and truly behind it, Pepsi has definitely got its groove back with its latest blockbuster that again plays for laughs.
Starring comic actors Paul Rudd (Ron Burgundy and The 40-Year-Old-Virgin) and Michael Peña (Ant-Man and CHiPs) the witty spot sees the two as budding astronauts and the lengths they’ll go to in grabbing a Pepsi Max.
Titled “No Can Left Behind” the spot’s the work of AMV BBDO and was directed by Academy Award-nominated director Taika Waititi.
The New Zealander’s known for his work on blockbusters such as Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame, hence the spot’s big, cinematic feel. Check out the fun below:

The latest ad follows on from another spot from January that also leaned on some serious Hollywood muscle, this time in the form of Steve Carell, that many regarded as the funniest of this year’s Super Bowl spots. Re-live it here.
