Digital strategy consultancy PENSO has been appointed to lead the digital transformation and user experience of the Judicial College of Victoria.

The Judicial College of Victoria provides judicial education for the judicial officers who preside over the Victorian jurisdictions: Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates’ Court, Children’s Court, Coroners Court and VCAT.

The College develops innovative ‘judge led’ educational programs, and authoritative legal resources that support judicial officers throughout their judicial life. It hosts events, conferences, and seminars, as well as delivering an extensive online library of bench books and guides. The work of the College is highly valued by both the judiciary and the legal profession.

PENSO has been tasked with developing the digital strategy and user experience for the College, which includes digital transformation as well as content, channel and technology strategies. It will work alongside the judiciary and members of the legal community, to support the College’s ability to maximise the value of every hour of judicial education through content and technology.

PENSO was appointed after a large and competitive pitch. 94 management consultancies, digital agencies and UXfirms provided submissions to take on this important legacy project. The Judicial College of Victoria is also currently undertaking an RFP to appoint a technology partner for the implementation phase of the digital transformation project.

PENSO creates digital strategies and digital experiences to build the businesses of tomorrow.

PENSO works with clients all over the world from their offices in Melbourne and Dubai. Their clients include Emirates, Cargill, Hilton Worldwide, Commonwealth Bank, MYOB and various Governments.

They advise and guide clients, helping them take advantage of digital to future-proof their business margins.

Speaking on the appointment to the Judicial College of Victoria, PENSO CEO Con Frantzeskos (pictured) said: “The Judicial College is a unique and tremendously important part of Victoria’s judicial system. We are delighted and honoured to be working with the College to transform their digital approach and bring this project to life.”

Samantha Burchell, CEO of the Judicial College of Victoria added: “PENSO brings intellectual rigour, detailed research, analysis and creative design to this project. This project is of vital importance to the future of the College to ensure Victoria’s judiciary has the world’s best practice professional development.”

Judicial College of Victoria project lead Chris Parkes added: “The combination of PENSO’s IP, unique approach and capability put them ahead of many other worthy organisations in a competitive tender process. Now that we’ve commenced work on the project, I’m confident that we have made the right decision to partner with them.”
