Pedestrian Group has announced the relaunch of Pedestrian JOBS, marking the biggest update to the platform in more than a decade.
Since launching in 2010, Pedestrian JOBS has connected employers and job seekers, becoming a job marketplace for creative industries.
The revamped platform marks a new era for Pedestrian Group and has been designed with a modernised user experience, improved job-matching technology, and a design that speaks to a young audience.
“I’m incredibly excited about the relaunch of Pedestrian JOBS. Pedestrian Group’s vision is to help young Australians feel heard and understood and with the relaunch of JOBS, we’re now making it easier for them to find roles that align with their passions and creativity. This new platform reflects not just a technology upgrade but a deeper commitment to supporting the next generation, empowering them to thrive in careers they love,” said Mason Rook, CEO of Pedestrian Group.
To celebrate the relaunch, PEDESTRIAN.TV has also launched a new Careers vertical, bringing its audience expert career advice, tips and tricks for navigating their first (or second, or third) jobs, and juicy interviews from industry veterans.
“We know that younger Aussies — a.k.a. Gen Z — are more likely to change jobs than their millennial or Gen X peers,” said head of editorial Alex Bruce-Smith.
“Last year, 13 per cent of people aged 15 to 24 years old switched jobs. That’s why we’re proud to also be launching Careers, a content vertical dedicated to helping young Aussies craft their dream career, whatever that may look like,” added Bruce-Smith.
Part of the content offering will include Insider Trading, an interview series asking young creative Aussies how they got to where they are, and the lessons they learned along the way.
