Omnicom’s digital agency Resolution has announced Paul Roberts as director in Melbourne.

Resolution is a full-service digital agency with over 300 staff, providing owned, earned and paid services to leading Australian brands. Resolution, originally founded in 2002 and headquartered in Chicago, is now in 60 markets and supports OMG agencies (including Hearts & Science, OMD, PhD and Foundation).

Roberts joins Resolution with over 17 years’ experience across digital, web development, strategy and marketing, and was selected for his innovative approach and entrepreneurial spirit, having founded several businesses, including a web development and eCommerce business.

As director of Resolution in Melbourne, Roberts will act as a key member of the Melbourne leadership team and will be responsible for helping to expand the production arm of Resolution into Victoria – which includes a 35-person development capability, a design and UX team and an omnichannel content offering specialising in social creative, to help service our clients in the Melbourne market.

CEO of Resolution Australia Des Odell believes the addition of Paul to an already strong full-service digital team led by General Manager, Kate Gamble will help maximise Resolution’s presence in the Melbourne market. “Bringing Paul on board continues our investment into Resolution and our commitment to becoming the number one full-service digital agency partner in Australia. His wealth of experience across digital, web development, marketing, strategy, content, as well as working with organisations on both agency and client side makes him a great fit for the team and an asset to our clients”.

Roberts will report into Kate Gamble, who said: “Paul joins at a pivotal time in the industry. Clients want more from their marketing; they want transparency and return on advertising spend.
