Seven West Media’s Pacific Magazines has announced the appointment of Emma Baston as client strategy director for Victoria.
Baston has worked in senior digital media buying and planning roles at various agencies including UM Australia, Cummins&Partners and MindShare, with exposure across the strategy, communications and creative process.
She has also worked at Facebook in a client partner role in the retail and auto verticals.
Fran Vavallo, sales director for Victoria at Pac Mags, said: “This appointment is a key step in the transformation of our commercial offering beyond inventory to focus heavily towards a more people-based marketing approach.
“Emma’s expertise across various agency and digital roles will add to the strategic conversations we’re having with clients to drive their business growth and unlock consumer behaviour change.”
Commenting on her appointment, Baston said: “I’m looking forward to helping to embed Pacific’s offering as we take to market advanced sales solutions which fuse data, insights, creative and measurement – and joining forces with Fran to tell Pacific’s story and accelerate growth.”
Baston’s appointment comes after Pac Mags CEO Gereurd Roberts recently flagged redundancies for some of its editorial teams.
