OX Live moves into Stonewall

Stonewall Hotel on Oxford Street in Sydney is now the proud owner of a studio for Australia’s online gay radio station, OX Live.

The popular gay and lesbian nightspot will see DJs broadcast live-on-air while the dance floor becomes packed on Friday and Saturday nights.

As OX Live is an official Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras media partner they are hosting the Mardi Gras DJ Spin-Off competition, allowing up-and-coming DJs to compete for their own set at a Mardi Gras event in 2014.

On the March 1, 2014 OX Live will also be hosting the official Mardi Gras top 100 gay hits countdown, warming audiences up for the parade that evening.

“Over the last 15 years we have constantly evolved and improved our offering to ensure Stonewall is welcoming and entertaining for both local and international visitors,” Glenn Hansen, Stonewall manager said.

“Having Sydney’s gay radio station based within the hotel will further enhance the Stonewall experience.”

This new studio is the only publicly accessible radio facility in Sydney.

OX Live (Oxford Street Live) is available online at www.oxlive.com.au or www.sydneygayradio.com, or through the free smartphone app “OX Live” on the App Store and Google Play.
