Typically, you’d want your out of home installation to last longer than a few days. But that certainly wasn’t the case with a new outdoor wax campaign that was designed to disintegrate under the hot sun to highlight the perils of inaction on climate change.
The campaign was the work of creative agency Zubi for its client the Cleo Foundation which is an American-based animal welfare group.
It consisted of three installations all made to melt in in five days under the hot Florida sun.
The wax sculptures included a lifeguard hut, a Florida panther mother and cub and a grandfather and granddaughter.
When the scultpures melted away they revealed a message about the dangers of Florida’s rising temperatures.
