Orange Line Bolsters Team With Two Senior Hires

Digital marketing agency Orange Line has made two senior appointments following a series of new business wins and existing client growth.

The independent Sydney agency has hired former Essence planning lead, Aishling Farrell (right in photo), as general manager of client service and strategy along with former senior ReachLocal executive, Stephanie Ford (left) as operations manager.

For the past 10 years Orange Line has created and executed the digital strategy for tier one and medium-enterprise businesses including Bupa, Expedia and Bayer. Over the past 12 months the agency has increased its scope of work with a number of clients, moving into international markets — including the US — as well as adding a string of new business.

David Klein, co-founder and director at Orange Line, said: “The appointments of both Aishling and Stephanie come at a crucial point for the agency as we ramp up our service offering and expand our operations with clients in overseas markets. Both have significant expertise and experience in their respective fields and they will be a great addition to the team as we look forward to a bumper 2018.”

Farrell joins Orange Line after seven years with GroupM’s digital-first agency, Essence. Starting her career as a media planner/buyer she rose through their ranks in London. Charged with leading planning and account management for clients including Google and HP, she was the first person on the ground when Essence opened their Sydney office in 2016.

“I was impressed by the level of innovation being driven out of the agency,” Farrell said. “I’m excited by the opportunity to work for a business that has fostered an unprecedented level of cross discipline collaboration with each employee feeling empowered to contribute their ideas and solutions. I’m joining at a time when Orange Line are ready to take these solutions to market in Australia and beyond.”

Ford joins Orange Line after seven years with global online marketing and advertising solutions provider ReachLocal. During that time she gained experience in a variety of roles beginning her career as an account manager and then progressing to UK operations manager. Transferring to Sydney in 2014 she focused on project and program management to bring global alignment and increase operational efficiencies, as well as leading the regional operations specialist team across ANZ.

On her appointment at Orange Line, Ford added: “It’s a great time to be joining Orange Line and I am looking forward to the opportunies ahead. With rapid growth, it is important to have clear, effective processes in place to ensure operational efficiency and ultimately, driving the best outcomes for our clients.”
