Is This One Of The Most Heartbreaking Christmas Ads Ever?

You’ve got to hand it to the English – when it comes to Christmas ads they have few peers indeed.

And now a new campaign from non-profit group Age UK turns the typical festive ad of family, presents and over-eating on its head.

The ad, called “Just another day”, aims to draw attention to the loneliness many older people feel at Christmas time and finishes with the tagline “No one should have no one”.

It’s the work of creative agency Drum and was directed by famed French director Philippe Andre. Check out the spot below, but B&T warns it’s a bit of a tear jerker.
