Online Marketing Gurus (OMG) has welcomed Jean-Pierre (JP) Naim to the role of director of partnerships and alliances at OMG.
The newly created role in the fast growing company will see Naim (featured image) nurture the ecosystem of over 200 partners OMG currently collaborates with, work closer with current partners and develop new partnerships locally and globally.
Naim brings over eight years experience in the digital space, with a focus on eCommerce.
He began as an outbound sales consultant and worked his way quickly up to head of sales and partnerships.
The most recent roles Naim held were at Paypal, Zip Pay and Brighte (a home energy lender backed by Atlassian founder Mike Cannon-Brookes).
Andrew Raso, co-founder and CEO of Online Marketing Gurus, believes that what sets Naim apart is his ability to connect people together to make the unachievable achievable.
Raso said: “We’re very proud of the huge number of relationships we’ve fostered with like minded businesses over the past few years.
“Partnerships have been a key focus for us from day one at OMG and we were on the hunt for an individual who could take the reins of our whole network, nurture our relationships and grow our partnerships to the next level.
“JP answers this criteria and more.”
“JP’s proven track record of building teams and ability to bring people from all different businesses together for the benefit of the end client are attributes that set him apart from the rest in my eyes.”
When the opportunity to join Online Marketing Gurus came about, Naim considered it and believed his experience could make a significant impact.
Naim added: “I’d always known that OMG is pioneering in the way they approached digital and search marketing and when the role of director of partnerships and alliances was created, the idea of working with Was, Andrew and Mex along with their global ambitions resonated well with me and I knew it would be a good mutual fit.
“I was looking to expand my skills and learn a different part of the digital space and I knew immediately I could make a real difference at OMG with my unique approach.
“I believe in bringing people together you can trust and who can bring their own thing to the table, not only people who fit the brief.”
