OMD Wins Amazon’s ShopBop Social Media Account

OMD are delighted to announce that it has won the social media account for the Amazon owned, online fashion retailer Shopbop, following a two month competitive pitch.

The contract will be run by OMD Word in Sydney, and will span the entirety of Shopbop’s social media channels across Australia and New Zealand.

Tom Hutley, who was recently promoted to the head of OMD Word said, “As one of the leading fashion retailers in the world, we’re delighted to build on Shopbop’s social presence in the ANZ market. Social ROI is an area we’re constantly being challenged by our clients, so we’re genuinely excited with the opportunity to demonstrate our credentials for this e-commerce giant.”

The win is testament to the social capabilities of OMD Word and builds on recent award wins for TAB ‘Twitter Cup’ (Global Festival of Media and APMA Awards 2014), and V Energy ‘Take Me to Future Music Festival’ (3x APMA Awards 2014).

OMD Word will commence work immediately.
