Independent creative agency Now We Collide is on a bona fide recruiting spree, welcoming seven new hires, an influx of new clients and the announcement of further recruiting this year.

The expansions follow a raft of successful pitches from new and existing clients including Meta (APAC), TMX, ESPN, Goodman Group, Dilmah, Homestar, Zamora and Obela.

Michele Marquet and Rowena Rasmussen have joined the growing client services team, as account manager/producer. Marquet has previously held roles at GroupM, Bang Australia and Hogarth and Rasmussen joins from JTown Creative where she was previously producer/film director.

Additionally, Shayne Carter has been appointed producer after relocating to Sydney from the UK where he held a variety of agency roles. Carter has most recently spent time working on blockbuster feature films including Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat, bringing large scale live-action experience to the team.

Marquet, Rasmussen and Carter will play key roles in producing integrated campaigns, while helping to implement ongoing client strategies and client relationships.

Now We Collide’s creative division has also grown two-fold with the additions of senior editor Josh Groom, senior designer Tim Prosser, production coordinator Matilda Teernstra and junior designer Leila Polito.

The four bring a wealth of experience from across the industry and will be instrumental in bolstering Now We Collide’s creative skills and expertise.

Managing Partner & CEO, Keir Maher, explains the fuel behind Now We Collide’s growth

“The world of integrated creative and content can be a minefield to navigate. That’s why we’re seeing a huge influx of marketers turning to nimble agencies like ours to help them through it quickly and efficiently,” said Now We Collide’s managing partner and CEO, Keir Maher.

“Our growing client base features a number of dynamic and innovative category leaders. It’s important we match their energy with a multidisciplinary team filled with fresh perspectives and diverse minds.

“I’m excited to welcome these new hires to the mix. Everyone brings such a broad range of experience that fits snugly into our flexible and agile team. And our new, larger office space in Surry Hills will house our growing team as we continue to work hybridly to offer greater flexibility.”

Now We Collide is currently recruiting account managers/producers to join the team in 2022.
