NOVA Entertainment has announced the appointment of Zoe Walsh as senior publicist for NOVA 96.9 and smoothfm in Sydney.
Walsh will be responsible for publicising the NOVA and smoothfm media brands in Sydney and developing initiatives for NOVA’s national programs including the Kate, Tim & Marty drive-time show and evening show Smallzy’s Surgery.
She will work closely with Jane Elliott, NOVA Entertainment’s national publicity director, and Cathrine Mahoney, NOVA 96.9’s senior publicist.
Walsh has six years’ experience across the entertainment, consumer, lifestyle and major event sectors, having most recently worked as a senior account manager at communications agency Bastion Effect in both Melbourne and Sydney. Prior to that, she worked with the publicity team at the Nine Network in Melbourne.
Luke Minto, NOVA Entertainment’s general manager for Sydney, said Walsh is a very talented publicist with experience across a range of mediums.
“She’ll be a great addition to our Sydney publicity team,” he said.
Zoe will commence her now role on Monday 19 September.
